The original krewe member, RAW OYSTA is a pearl maker preoccupied with serving up spicy rhythms. Rumor has it that OYSTA was shucked from a parade float straight into the shell of a drum. From half-shell to full drum shell, OYSTA caught the boogie woogie at just the right time.

OFF THE HOOK

Schooled off the shores of California, FRESH SQUID maintains the harmony in the krewe. After years of deep dwelling evolution, SQUID understands that waveforms, frequencies, and positive vibes are vital to a healthy echo-system. This tentacled soul is no slouch when it comes to performing piano strokes, drum strokes or even swim strokes!

OFF THE CHAIN

A real moody and mysterious character of unknown origin from the swamps of Florida or Louisiana, possibly both. Heavily exposed to Caribbean syncopations due to proximity, and known to be a highly unstable sonic thrasher. Growling low-end, hissing high-end, and snappy snares are all the GATOR specialties.

THE STORY

Introducing the triple-threat of rhythm runners, RAW OYSTA, FRESH SQUID & FRIED GATOR.

First to pop out the half shell, OYSTA refined the cocktail sauce for the secret kung-pow to the juicy rhythm tracks. Ingredients were gathered from diverse influences and since then, much damage has been done to ear drums worldwide.

Rising from the Pacific to bring the freshest soundwaves to the masses, SQUID is the krewe’s resident bass groover and people mover. A collector with ten limbs, SQUID has gathered inspiration from rhythm empires on both sides of the Atlantic.

It was just a matter of time before OYSTA and SQUID crossed paths with GATOR. A real crunchy producer, GATOR brings the deep swamp funk and has a serious appetite for chop suey as well as chopping the beats.

Inspired by two knuckle-headed hounds, the WOOF KREWE was formed at a New Orleans food stand, and now serves fresh takeout plates, oysta shooters and deep fried bangers at their audio chop shop in the suburbs of Detroit.
